At the Cygnet Community Children's Centre, we understand that the first 3 years of a child's life are crucial for learning, development, and building secure attachments. We value the importance of meaningful partnerships between families and educators, and we recognise that this requires continuous collaboration.
On your child's first day, our experienced educators will spend time getting to know you and your child. We will complete a personal profile about your child's daily routine, sleep, bottle and dietary requirements, interests, dislikes, and important family events. This ensures that your child's transition into our care and education program is positive and familiar.
Our educators use their extensive knowledge of child development, current teaching and learning theories, and our centre's philosophy to plan and implement engaging learning programs and meaningful routines to support and engage your child.
